In the spirit of reading tense, twisty books, I thought I knew what was going to happen…and I was surprised it didn’t!

This is a read where you don’t want to miss any word. The character interactions, both spoken and unspoken, are detailed and important and actually threw me off a bit (from my original theory). Couldn’t stop reading this!

I was rooting for you
Matthew
, we were all rooting for you! (Actually, I don't think anyone other than me was rooting for
Matthew
.) (I'm still disappointed.)

Literally buy it. Kept me on my toes. I thought I knew what was happening and then I was hit with a brick. I feel lied to. Currently questioning everything. Jaw dropping.

This book was incredible. It's very fast-paced, but the authors still develop the characters really well. There are several plot lines going on at once, and the authors did a great job resolving everything. Avery and Marissa both had really distinct voices and perspectives, and that really helped flesh out the narrative.
