WOW. This is one of the best books I have ever read. I'm not a huge mystery fan, but this book had me theorizing and guessing every other page. I have no clue how Kate Morton managed to weave three timelines and storylines together so masterfully. I was so enthralled and compelled by this story and I cannot wait to reread this again! SO SO good.

I went out and bought all of Kate Morton's other books after this. Obsessed is an understatement. Please give this book a read.

This book is a mystery wrapped in a mystery that is so heart wrenching you can't put the book down. This story takes place over 100 years, in 3 countries, and told by 3 generations of the same family. A tiny girl is abandoned on a ship for Australia in 1913. This is the story of "Nell" seeking to find her true identity. The characters will draw you in and wrap themselves around you like the Cornish fog. You will want to curl up with a cuppa tea (which I don't drink) and lose yourself in this wonderful book.

This is my third Kate Morton book and it did not disappoint. I really enjoy her writing and how she weaves different stories together. Eliza was by far my favorite character.

This book was a loan from a friend. I enjoyed it more than I expected to. I may read another book by the same author sometime soon.
