I don't think it's a surprise, if you look at my reading history, that I am a fan of Omegaverse. A world where everyone has a designation, Alpha, Beta or Omega and this denotes your place in society, how you behave socially and how you interact with the other designations. Riley is an Omega, hiding as a Beta and taking suppressants to stop her true nature being exposed, she lives alone and she is doing ok. She ends up under the protection of a pack, Miles, Levi, Fox and Thane. They're all attracted to each other and they are so good for each other, but Riley has a secret and Head Alpha Thane has reservations about them all bonding. This a steamy read that will take you from the depths of despair, to pure ecstasy and to the darkest of days. I'm super excited to read more standalones in this series but I must admit, I really adored this one. Riley is such a great character, she defies society and is fierce, sweet, loving and smart, her Alphas are all about her and even when they're fighting their attraction, their main concern is her - sweet and hot!

Interesting layer with the disease that attacks Omegas (cervas). Wish the pack spice dynamic was explored more and more descriptive.

This was such a cozy omegaverse read that was just what I needed right now. This is your pretty standard non-shifter omegaverse universe, where there’s Alphas, betas, and omegas. However in this world, laws are made to oppress and control omegas, not empower and protect them (similar vein as Pack Darling or Forbidden Duologies). Lots of good character building and angst, but with a great happy ending. Oh and also there’s ⚔️⚔️⚔️ which I love for me 😍

This book was so good. I couldn't put it down the whole time. I've read this arthur's other book's and love them, but when I found out she was writing an omegaverse story I knew I couldn't pass it up. Best. Decision . Ever.
This book literally had me so engrossed from start to finish I just wanted to keep reading and oh my lord the emotions this book had me all over the place from crying to laughing to fanning myself, because lets face it who wouldn't be fanning themselves when you have 4 hot sexy alpha's at your disposal.
What do you do when your talking to your illegal heat suppresants dealer when all of a sudden the cops show up and they chase you...You turn around and run back to the alpha you were just talking to and claim he's your alpha of course. That's where Riley find's herself when she goes home with this Alpha and his pack, but the problem is, Thane the leader of the pack has a problem with accepting her into the pack, and they decide it's all who have to agree or they find her another pack.
This is a must read.
