I understand why people like this book but it’s not for me. I mostly enjoyed the first 65% of this book and could barely skim the rest.

1850-1860’s chapters: really enjoyed.
2019 chapters: mundane details on horses and art and I did not feel any connection to these characters.
1950’s chapters: was there a point to this?
