I gave The Alchemist ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 stars! This book was such a lovely quick read that was interesting and informative at the same time. I love how it showed the path of a journey to a dream and the knowledge of the world. Absolutely recommend this to anyone and everyone!

This book is simple, maybe too simple for most people these days.. but it manages to find me just when I need its message.

Happened across this book while I was in a fairly dark place. Made it seem more magical.

This book is similar to The Little Prince however this book focuses more on how to live your life or pursue your dreams while The Little Prince is about observing the details, and understanding a child's point of view to better understand something. The Alchemist was great, it has a lot of lessons that can teach you how to be a better person. It's like a self-help book and a story altogether. This is perfect for those who want to read something like The Little Prince.

I didn’t feel a great connection with the main character, but this is a nice, quick little read with some great life advice that shouldn’t go overlooked.

Some of my favorite snippets:

“Because I don’t live in either my past or my future, I’m interested only in the present. If you can concentrate only on the present, you’ll be a happy man.”

“It’s not what enters man’s mouths that’s evil,” said the alchemist. “It’s what comes out of their mouths that is.”

“Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself.”

“…when we strive to be better than we are, everything around us becomes better, too.”
