This is my favorite so far in the series. I loved all the characters and leaving about their back stories. Great read!

If you're up to the third book in this series you probably know what you're in for. The things that bothered me about Anne Rice's writing in books 1 and 2 were still present, but it was also a really fun read and I enjoyed myself a lot. Loved the multiple POVs and expanded universe in this one, in contrast to the narrow POV of the first two books.

Ok so this next book is definitely the best so far in the series. Even though it is the best it still isn't my kind of story. So I give it 3.5 stars.

I think this is the best of the first 3–the multiple POVs definitely help propel the story and we get to learn a lot more about the world (esp in regards to Jessie, the Talamasca, and the twins). The first few sections reminded me of Good Omens in a fun way, but it dragged a while after that, and I found the ending to be somewhat anticlimactic. The devil’s minion chapter is probably the best part of the entire series 🙂‍↕️
