this was very drawn out and much could have been condensed, but the devils minion chapter was absolute perfection and the final chapter with lestat and louis saved what was a lackluster confrontation with akasha.

I was hoping for more of a fight with the mother vampire, but I guess mrs. rice decided to have.....that. which was...fine I guess.

anyhow this was fine and as mentioned I loved the flying london part with louis and lestat at the end. louis calling lestat 'a perfect devil' and lestat exposing his degradation kink....perfection.

I got to the chapter of Jesses pov and immediately lost all desire to finish the book. Womp Womp

Each book in this series is worse than the one before it.

I’m so ridiculously impressed. Anne Rice was truly ahead of her times. This in reference to; sexuality, gender roles and religious oppression. She articulated these views and their damage to society in a way that is sadly still relevant today and was able to intertwine these themes to make them apart of her characters, all while referencing historical socialites and the cycle of oppression.

the story of the red headed twins and the origin of vampires was soooo complex and at times hard to follow but very cool. honestly akasha was making some good points!!! she kind of is that diva. I absolutely ATE UP Daniel and Armand in this book. also LOUSTAT LOVE CONFESSION WHO CHEERED?!??!! the end of the book just Lestat having a kink for Louis getting mad at him and calling him the devil…I giggled.
