3 stars. Very interesting plot and I like they way it was written but it was a bit on the boring side for me. I think this is one of those books that would benefit greatly from being turned into a tv show or movie because in that media it would’ve been way more entertaining. That’s not to say it wasn’t good, it definitely was, but there were more dry spots than not for me.

The writing was good but I found the way the story was told got a bit convoluted at times. I also had trouble caring for any of the characters. They were all pretty one dimensional and dull. I empathized with Anna because what she was going through was sad but other than that I didn’t really care all that much about her. She made a lot of dumb decisions that had me shaking my head. The ending was good and I think it ended the way it needed to
Spoilerwith Anna being found not guilty
so I did really like that because everything leading up to that had me a bit worried.

Overall, it was not a bad book in the least, I was just expecting more from it. It’s an entertaining and at times intense read so I would still definitely recommend it.

Unreliable narrator. Gripping writing. Unique format. Groundbreaking plot twist. Flashbacks and flash forwards. Need I say more?

I am a thriller girl. Give me a thriller any time you want. I’m always in the mood for one, especially if it is as good as Dangerous Girls. I love the last moments when everything is clear and you know the answers and you can’t help but feel peace at last. But holy shit when a thriller leaves you with questions and half answers and in a complete shock, God it is perfect. Give me a thriller with an open ending anytime you want. Dangerous girls is that type of crime, the one that plays with you and at the end you just can’t believe it. Well crafted, great dialogs and perfect finale. A good book with all the letters.

The ending was really dumb but everything before it was incredibly compelling so that makes up for it. Elise and Anna's relationship is so weird but so sweet.
SpoilerI refuse to accept that ridiculous ending I'm sorry lmao
dark mysterious tense medium-paced

wow.

wow.

WOW.

what an amazing little hidden gem.

i found this book at Barnes and Noble. there was only one copy in the store, hidden between two other unknown books. to be honest, amazing peer reviews on Goodreads were the only reasons i actually bought it -- the cover was nothing special; the summary didn't do it justice. but boy, am i glad i did.

DANGEROUS GIRLS was my favorite read of 2014 so far. the characters weren't likable in any way, but i still sympathized with them beyond belief, which takes the talents of a true wordsmith. the plot was thick and twisty, and the unique, delineated storyline helped me get into the book. i finished it at 1:30 a.m., approximately, with a pounding heart and a brain unable to wrap itself around the awesomeness -- and frustration -- of the story.

wow, wow, wow. that's all i can say. read this immediately.

maybe reading this with a thesis deadline looming over my head is not a good idea. that ending would definitely make me stare blankly at any flat surface for days on end, but this is definitely worth it!

Time passed since I've read this book, and honestly I think that you can't write an objective review about this book immediately after reading it.
Here is the thing. I loved and hated this book at the same time. I didn't feel so much tension while reading a book since "We were liars". This book is freaking amazing. Ans also freaking annoying.
The main character Anna. Gad I felt so sorry for that poor thing. She is the main suspect of a murder crime, and let me tell you, the evidences against her was so fucking made-up, that IS just wanted to scream and throw my Kindle away. This girl. You learn about her family, friendships, relationships, her dreams and fears and I don't know about you, but I felt so related to her. Her suffering in the jail, the pernament doubtfulness of her situation. Really really authenthic ans so believable.
The storytelling was just AMAZE. The connection between past, present, future, the little hints. How many times did I think, that my genius Sherlock-mind finally solbed the case? A LOT of times. And Abigail Haas does an unbelievable job. She conviences you, that here it is, you finally know the answer. But, Hell NO! She will plant one million new doubts in to your head and you will be like WTF???
This book is genius. I'm totally sure you wil be blown away. Just as me.
