Still loving this series into the third book! It took a darker, more serious tone near the beginning to push the drama near the end as Josie and Seth continue to find a balance in their relationship. I adore these two together and this third instalment is filled with all the tension and drama I expect. Not to say there weren’t any surprises, because there most definitely were!

Much as I love the flirting and sweetness between these two, I have to admit that it was exciting to see them confront their issues and work around them. Things were not simple between Seth and Josie, and they genuinely had to confront their emotions head on, leading to some deeply personal moments.

Both characters have great arcs, though this time around I really loved seeing how Seth adapted not only to his new abilities, but to his feelings around Josie. It was a great arc for him and I loved seeing it.

The action centred mostly around the two leads, though there were still a couple intense moments. Especially since Seth’s powers became astronomical.

I’m having so much fun with these two that I’m almost sad their story is coming to a close. Still, this is a great book and I can’t wait to see what happens next!

The struggle is the third and final installment in the titan series.
This book picks up after the events of the last book,  Seth has left Josie and is forcing himself to move on without going back and Josie is dealing with the fall out of Seth leaving.
Once again we see characters such as Alex and Aiden from the main Covenant series re-appearing,  which is one of the best things about the book in my opinion.
One of the other amazing things,  is how much all of the characters including old and new ones have grown so much over the series.
The ending broke my heart!
A pregnancy!
Knew it.

The Struggle was a struggle to read. It could just be me but it was so slow and boring. I definitely expected another epic or at least an okay book, especially after the first two - but yeah, uh, no. I didn't like this book at all. If this whole series could just forget that this book existed then I would be okay with that.

I didn't care about any of the characters. Sorry Seth? It's like he went back to his annoying ways from the The Covenant Series and at that point I was just like "whatever, you do you."

I feel really bad because I feel like I'm in the minority of this book. I guess I just read a different book than everyone else? Or maybe I was beyond moody, needed coffee, or needed wine?!? I have no idea. I'll definitely try to reread this book, and series, sometime in the new year and hopefully I'll have a different opinion on The Struggle.
