Makes you feel the cold and isolation of Iceland on your skin. Haunting, poetic descriptions. I've read it three years ago and still remember the scenery as if I'd actually been there.

Beautifully written story about two men who go sea to fish for cod.
Spoiler One comes back
The reason I gave it 4 stars is that the second part was a great departure from the first part. 1st book in a trilogy.
