Sweet and hilarious; kids will enjoy the mystery and surprise that Mitzi uncovers. I appreciated that the text does not specifically address why Mitzi is not the same skin color as her baby brother and family; for Mitzi, her family is just her family (and as she says, "all the people in the entire world.").

Very cute picture book that is a mystery! Young readers will enjoy and see the outcome way before it is revealed (which is what you want them to do!)
