A Fun Read

Eh I finished it in a day but wouldn’t reread. I think the ending felt rushed. Like all the sudden she wasn’t anti-marriage anymore. And it was obvious she was pregnant for like half the book but they like skimmed past it for 2 seconds at the end.

A very interesting narration style of the FMC speaking about the story as if it were a memory... Very different vibe from the first and I much preferred it.

I also love a moody/protective/obsessed man (for years). She's an oblivious mess and I liked her. The FMC from the first book stressed me out but Gianna at least held her ground. their banter was fun and scathing sarcasm or thinly veiled flirting. Fun!

I don't think the dark parts were done with a lot of care so that's good to know in case that's a trigger (depression, anxiety, panic attacks, drug addiction, trauma, etc.)

Not sure what the next book will be...
