It was a decent enough story, sweet banter. The end at the awards ceremony was kind of cringey. 2 out of 5 steam (I am grumpy because it’s my second low steam book in a row.) this one definitely could have and should have had better sex scenes. They were deeply vanilla and many were off page.
This book was so fun and adorable!! I loved how incredibly awkward and terrible Rowe was in his lies. He gets to play Cinderella for the night in hopes of talking to someone to patent his idea and when he takes accidentally takes on the mantle of the mysterious Sterling Chase to someone who knows the truth, the lies are even funnier. Sebastian knows he’s not Sterling Chase because he’s secretly Sterling Chase but this awkward man sliding across the floor and hiding behind plants is too interesting for him not to be curious so he pretends to be his new assistant who Mr Chase has never met. Can’t go wrong, right?
Reasons I Recommend:
1) Over the top and ridiculous jokes that I couldn’t stop laughing atz
2) The Brotherhood. I’m already very intrigued by all of them and want to know more (and shipping Landry and Kenji) and
3) Watching Rowe do everything possible to protect Bash which includes him being so charming others jump to his defence — perfect!

I can’t express how much I LOVE this one. Rowe and Bash steal your heart and just don’t let go. Rowe is this utterly charming goof, who means well even when he’s lying his butt off. Bash hears those lies through a filter, seeing the heart of Rowe and the intention behind his tales. The way they get to know each other is a gift for the reader who gets to see it all unfold. Bash’s band of brothers is equally charming, and I can’t wait for more stories. The way this group came together was nothing short of perfection, just like Rowe and Bash.
