I have been listening to Goosebumps with my son. I love the bonding these books give us.

I love the Goosebumps series. I devoured them as a child an now look who, an adult, is getting back into them? Starting with my all-time favorite (because really who doesn't love werewolves?)

Grady recently moved to the swamps for his parent's research. His sister, Emily, not to keen on the move, who-one time-explores the swamp with Grady before running into the swamp hermit, who is claimed to be harmless either. But then there is the howling at night. Then comes Wolf, the dog who has big as a house, grabs Grady eye and heart. So, Wolf, Grady and his new friend Will, explore the swamps. But then comes the deaths. First a bird, then a rabbit, and then there is the big one, a deer and then a human. Is it really Wolf doing these killing or is it what Cassie thinks- a werewolf. The werewolf of fever swamps.

It is a simple book, well, I listened to this through the audiobook, I is like a summer read only more aimed towards this October month of spooky and hunting time. It easy suspenseful at practically every chapter's end. Its a good mystery of what is a werewolf- or if there was one at all.

so many discrepancies in this book for that reveal about who the werewolf is, they should have made it where the story didnt change things and go a complete different route after the route it was on with the reveal.

I read every Goosebumps book that came out until I was probably years past the appropriate age to be reading them, but that's beside the point. This one was my personal favorite overall.

I think I would've rated it higher if it weren't so predictable. Still an enjoyable read!
