I couldn’t finish this one - made it just over 100 pages and then had to put it down. It was just so slow and boring, not much else to say really. Characters are bland and the descriptions of them are even blander.

When it comes to storytelling, one of the most important things is characterisation, I just CAN’T read a book that lacks any substance in this area.
