I picked up the Puffin Classics version of this at a book sale (not sure if there's any differences between this and the listed publisher), and thought it was a nice summary of some King Arthur stories. It was a quick read and easy to follow. Honestly, the characterization is complete beans, but it's also funny, so I'm not complaining. Actually, everything about these stories is ridiculous, but that is okay! I had fun reading them, and it was a neat explanation of those pop culture derivations I've been interested in. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to know things about King Arthur stories but doesn't want to spend eighty years slogging through weird knight stories.
