Great book! Encouraging, hard-hitting, and the interview style kept my attention really well.

Wonderful book by Jane Goodall on how to survive these troubling times. She gives examples, reasons and stories from her life on how and why we need to save Mother Earth.

An astounding autobiographical work about an amazing woman. I was especially surprised by the supernatural discussions near the end.

I enjoy Jane Goodall’s perspectives and appreciate her work, however this book felt lackluster. I was hoping for a bit more actionable inspiration but, as other review writers have said, it felt like fluff and lacked nuance or depth. Many have said that this book did not utilize an intersectional lens when describing the issues, I would only slightly disagree. It seems that Jane had broached intersectionality, but quickly moved away from it (I’m assuming to avoid ‘alienating’ and if the “anti-woke” crowd, she seemed to be look for a “moderate” stance). Somewhat disappointed, and I agree that this book could have been much shorter for the amount of information gleaned from it.

I wish Doug wasn't there. I hope Ann gave her okay that her story was told.

This is not a book, its just a really long magazine article. While the ideas in it are good, the organization makes it difficult to read or listen to. There was never a point where it was hard hitting or surprising, which was disappointing.
