(spoilers for everything up to chapter 261 ig )
I only watched the anime 2 times and then picked up the manga after s2 and seeing yugi, megumi, kugisaki alive and well interacting w each other and gojo alive.. is so bitter sweet I miss them so much
the story has gotten quite old since I watched the anime twice this read has to be a 3.75 though if I had to rate it w the first time I experienced it in the anime it would be a 4.5 so I'm giving it a 4, every time I read or watch jjk I grow even more attached to the characters and gain even more of an appreciation for the story

This one was difficult to rate, because if I hadn't seen - and loved - the tv show first I don't know if this would have stood up.
I imagine I would have struggled to follow the story somewhat if I hadn't already known it, still a great series however.

I finally gave in to the hype. It was really absurd at the beginning, the introductions were lacking and the MC was a complete fool at times. The illustrations didn't seem to match the beauty captured by Mappa, heck, I was even shocked to learn that Gojo Satoru was a teacher!?

The main theme seems to be a mixture of inherent strength and chosen one. I was cringing when Itadori was going on and on about people having the right death. It's a nice thought, but it felt so artificial, so when he finally chucked all that off, to admit the truth, he became much more realistic in my eyes!

The world is crazy, there are some disgusting looking creatures, the characters and their relationships slowly grow on you, the fights are cool but what I look forward to is Ryomen Sukuna lmao.
