Don't even remember reading this, but I did.
That's all you should need to know.

This was a lot like Rome and Juliette / West Side Story with a lot of Gang-related stuff thrown in. I was in a fantasy hangover when I read this, so a dramatic but still romantic book was exactly what I needed. I could not stand the main female character though, she was so annoying. But if you're searching for a romantic novel with a little bit of drama, try this one.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!! it had everything from teen love, to teen struggles...it was amaziiing

Every once in a while a book comes along that I just want to slap people with and say, “READ THIS NOW!” Perfect Chemistry is one of those books. I swear I’m not violent either, I just want people to experience this wild ride of a story.

Perfect Chemistry, oh, boy there’s a lot I could say. A lot I want to say and a lot that I’m not going to say. This book is perfection at it’s best, it doesn’t get much better than this. It was full of angst, intense, swoon worthy moments, sweet, sad, and of course sexy.

Alex and Brittany. Oh, the chemistry. Sparks fly between them. This is a forbidden romance, and it’s totally awesome, and those two belong with each other.

Brittany is from a rich family and a popular cheerleader. She is from the North Side. Alex is a member of the Latino Bloods Gang and is from the South Side.

Alex stole my heart. I take that back, he didn’t steal my heart. I gladly gave it to him on a silver platter.

They hated each other in the beginning but the connection was there, I could feel the tension, the chemistry and everything coming from them.

Both Brittany and Alex hide who they really are from others but as they got to know each other, they let each other see who they really are.

They are both struggling and dealing with their own share of problems. My heart broke for each of them.

Perfect Chemistry is told in dual point-of-view and it was done beautifully and brilliantly. Brittany and Alex had distinctive voices and each chapter was like reading a different book.

The story flowed. I felt connected to the characters. The writing was wonderful. There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like.

I smiled, laughed, my heart pounded, my heart broke, I cried, and I was happy in the end.

Simone Elkeles will forever be one of my favorite authors.

This story will always have a place on my favorite bookshelf and a place in my heart. I will never forget it. I will never get tired of re-reading it. Each time I do re-read it feels like the first time all over again.

Do yourself a favor and read this book. You won’t regret it.

This is the first book in the series. Each is a standalone and about a different Fuentes brother. Reading order: Perfect Chemistry, Rules of Attraction, and Chain Reaction.

I can tell you that I have read each of these books, and have loved every one of them. I highly recommend this series.

Great, easy read!

Ugh. This book is so sweet and cheesy on the outside but, like it's characters, it's so much more once you read it.

lighthearted medium-paced

I was writing adult novels, and someone came to my writers’ group with an article from the Chicago Tribune. It told about a writer who made a six-figure advance on a novel with Hispanic characters. I thought, I need to make a living from this, too.

I finished this book because I am a sucker for a MMC that dislikes the FMC. The book was cute. It took about 4 days to finish but it is an easy read. I felt like the FMC fell very hard fast even though she couldn't see her own previous shitty relationship right in front of her. The book is pretty out of touch with reality, but that is not why I read romance. Over all 3/5 because I never once felt like I couldn't finish the book
