Another exciting volume, had a big laugh at the boys dressing up (terribly) as girls so they could spy. Dang it Tengen could you not have pulled it off a bit better. XD Fun (and cute) new characters, even the demon is cute (yes, and murderous, haha). I loved the mystery and I loved the battle at the end featuring Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Tengen! Let's go!

For the record, I read the paperback edition for this manga, but kindle was apparently the only one available, so whatevs.
Holy shit, this volume was FUCKING HILARIOUS! I was laughing so hard I almost started crying! Continuing the trend of "Hashira members who were initially one-dimensional but now have characterization," Uzui is so funny but an absolute BEAST of a Demon Slayer. His plan was sound, his skills are awesome, and he knows when to pull people out of a mission when it gets too dangerous. I LOVE his personality and how he interacts with the squad, specifically Zenitsu. Good job Gotouge, you've made me enamored with another Hashira member. Bravo!
I know I constantly rave about the art style/artwork, but the character designs for the oiran and Daki were GORGEOUS. Holy shit, I didn't know it was possible for the female characters to get any prettier, but Gotouge proved me wrong there! I would have liked to have seen more of Hanamachi rather than getting small info dumps, but it was fine as a setting. I'll tell you one thing, I can't fucking wait for it to be animated!
Speaking of animation, I can't wait to see Tanjiro's fight with Daki animated. Imagining her whipping her obi around and cloaking the women in it makes me all giddy! Going off of that, it was a little sad seeing Tanjiro struggle with water breathing and eventually realizing he has to abandon it because he isn't skilled it in anymore. Considering how hard he worked to master it, it's sad to see him realize he needs to use the hinokami kagura, which is has yet to perfect. I do love how he doesn't throw a fit and rather uses his energy in trying to perfect it, even with his life on the line. That determined spirit and unwillingness to mope is what I admire about him.
Inosuke and Zenitsu were great in this volume too, and I loved seeing Zenitsu master the samisen by pouring out all of his rage and resentment towards Uzui into it. He also gets to shine towards the end during the fight with Daki's obi, which I greatly enjoyed. Inosuke was a fucking BOSS in this volume and seeing him struggle in this new environment, yet being the one to find the other part of Daki's body (by dislocating his joints...yuck) was awesome. I love my precious wild baby so so much!
That's about all I can say for now. Another great volume in what is becoming my favorite shounen series. Love it so much!
