Story: Just to recap, here are the characters - Kit, River, Caleb (nice twin), Austin (mean twin), Cole, Wesley, Vali. This book was good but I did not love it. Frankly, the characters annoyed me a bit. Kit is very bold and upfront about things for the most part but in this book she was so hesitant to talk about her relationship with the guys. After people keep getting hurt near Kit and she ran into people near death, I felt like Kit should have put the pieces together. Maybe this is all a ploy for her to change people. It wasn't just her, none of the guys figured it out either. Why River didn't let kit heal him when he was injured was beyond me. He's the team leader and needs to be on top of his game and able to protect Kit.
Austin is still a jerk. He continues to be one at every opportunity. He's always invading her space. He walks into bedrooms without permission, interrupts her with the rest of the guys, and always has to talk mess. If you don't like a person, just leave them be. At the party, his ex arrived and then he just let Kit go off on her own when she'd just healed someone and was weak. Then he has the nerve to say that she’s teased him since day one. I don’t like when someone blames the other person for their attraction for them. It’s not her fault he wanted her. The torture was a bit much for me. How much can a person take before they crack. How she could have had sex with multiple broker ribs I also don't really get. I feel like every time they think they have their stuff together, they failed. I'm not really sure how I'm feeling about this series. I'm not sure whether I want to know what happens next or not.
Narration: Marnye Young, Matt Haynes - The narration was good. I liked the way it was a duet so the woman narrated all of the women parts and the guy did all the men's. I've only seen this a few times but I love it.

4 Stars!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
So Tate James continues to keep you on the edge of you seat in the 3rd book of this series . You honestly have no idea who is good and who is bad. This series is steamy and fast paced . I know it may sound strange seeing a s there is 6 books in the series but it really is . I haven’t read one that felt like it dragged on . I’m loving all the characters . In this book who get more from Austin and Caleb . You learn more about their magic . I’m telling you , you can not go wrong with this series . O and who doesn’t love a badass Heroine and she just keeps getting better and better .

Wow
Tate does it again! The tiger's ambush was fantastic. Kit and crew are really moving along in their story and I love all the twists and turns. This series is addictive and I can't wait for the next book.

I’m starting to learn the pattern that each book has one true “action-packed incident.” Probably will lull me into a false sense of security by the end, but it’s working so far.
While each book is about all of them, the title of the book definitely leans to who the most focus will be on. This one was Austin’s and I enjoyed it. Not sure we gained a lot between Kit and Austin in their “relationship,” but we learned more about the twins and I don’t blame Kit or Alpha with being angry with them for their secret. Not to mention the end!
Not surprised about the “betrayal,” but I definitely think there’s more there than being said.
This book definitely spices up compared to the first 2.

2.5🌶️ I'm starting to see the Tate I know and love. I will say that at this point in the series I think the world building is a little lacking. After 3 books she still doesn't know what's going on and even two of the guys have some prior knowledge and just won't tell her anything? I'm finding this mysterious war to be fascinating as well as how all the guys powers are manifesting. I'm interested to see how the story continues to unfold especially given the recent developments for Kit!
