Another of Lencioni's treatises based on an illustrative story and incorporating and clarifications important principles of leadership. Integrated with a conceptual model.

I'm not a CEO, nor do I aspire to be, but I thought this book had some great concepts for leaders in general to consider. Written in parable fashion this book is easy to read, and Lencioni's summaries at the end of his books always help to provide some practical steps to implement.

This is a simple and easily understood book about what five characteristics are required to be a good CEO. Some of those same characteristics can be applied for managers.

It's told in a simple story form which is easy to understand.

I didn't like it, perhaps because I'm not CEO? I don't think so, I think it is just too shallow.

It basically boils down to the following issues:
1. Prioritizing on status over results
2. Prioritizing popularity over accountability
3. Prioritizing certainty over clarity
4. Prioritizing harmony over productivity
5. Prioritizing invulnerability over trust

Definitely worth the read!

I think leadership ables are one of the best ways to convey ideas in an entertaining way. There are some very good points made in this short book. I just wanted it to go a little deeper into each principle.

sometimes you have to read things for work that are boring and not up your alley. this was one of those times.

Short book with five ideas implanted in a fable, I like Lencioni`s style. I read a lot of business books but no one explained concepts like productive conflict so I think the book might "show" its utility in the future.

It was ok. I can see why five dysfunctions of a team is better.
