Once I passed the events depicted in the film, this series became even more of a page turner!! I was glad their caretaker didn't die in this installment, changing the pattern. Another good ending wherein the Baudelaire's realize how lucky they were through their misfortune.

This was just as odd, warm, scarry, and adventurous as the two books before it, and I enjoyed it much the same. The setting was a little fiercer, and this one really showcased bravery. The Baudelaires remain as charming as ever, and you're obviously rooting for them the whole time. An entertaining and short read!
