This was an interesting introduction to Sartre and his impact. Seemed more like a veneer than a deeper examination and that was by design. I think it is suitable enough for a person to decide if further delving is warranted.

This book wonderfully takes quite dense, tricky topics and puts them in an easily absorbed style which is broken up by graphics to elaborate on or emphasise points. The book switches between taking a somewhat chronological approach and a thematic approach which sometime got slightly confusing to follow. Some of the graphics were also quite detailed so the text came up quite small when reading the ebook on a phone so I would recommend reading on a larger device or paperback.

Some interesting passages, I liked the illustrations, but otherwise abit all over the place. Not the most helpful in consolidating Sartre's key ideas. Wouldn't recommend especially for students.
