The second episode in a series of shorts released a month at a time.
I adored this episode! The story has definitely started to unfold and Percy and Joe really shone through here in this quick but dangerous trip through a booby trapped crypt. I am once again blown away by how cleverly Lockwood delivers a story. The sexual tension and frustration between Percy and Joe, as well as the hilarious innuendos, was off the charts. The twist and turns had me tearing through this! (I just about screamed when she teased us with that interrupted scene! I should have known she would frustrate the reader similarly to how Percy and Joe were feeling!) Well played. Percy was a total sweetheart here for Joe - trying just so hard to be good. I really liked how much more we got from their relationship in this one. I’m hooked. I can’t wait for the next episode.
