I'm gonna be honest I'm not a Tatsuki Fujimoto fan. I read his other works hoping that maybe I just wasn't a Chainsaw man fan because his short story collections are victim to the same thing as Chainsaw man: paper thin plot disguised by gore, women and good art.  Only catch is that in this one the art isn't quiet good yet.

Enjoyable read, great for fans for CSM author. Really awesome to see the evolution of his art

Nice

What a treat this was. I love Fujimoto's outside-the-box thinking, which, even to manga standards, is pretty out there. Two of the stories in the collection (Sasaki Stopped a Bullet and Love is Blind) are gems; funny, hopeful, provocative, stimulating, and otherworldly odd, quite literally. The two others (A Couple Clucking Chickens Were Still Kickin' in the Schoolyard and Shikaku), while not as good, evoke a similar sense of surrealism and humor. Highly recommended!
