Bloody love spicy novellas thank youuuu!

The plot - this is a hella spicy novella. This has got all the snowed in vibes, forced proximity, and a kinky plot. It’s also a dark romance so that’s the vibes you’re gonna get. Smut was 4/5 on the spice scale and WHEW it was good. It’s also a really cute HEA given the circumstances lmao. There are trigger warnings so CHECK YA FUCKIN TRIGGERS PEOPLE. All I’m gonna say is, they both have a mask kink and it WORKS… Not to mention how it managed to be wholesome despite everything.

The MC - Ivy is our rich girl FMC, who just wants a holiday after all the shit she’s been through. Idk about a holiday, but she horny and she wants Maddox so…

The male counterpart - Maddox; our rugged mountain man, a criminal, a man of sin if you will! I’d fuck him, and probably stay the night so he’s alright really. He’s a good one.

The sex was hot and I loved the intensity of Maddox’s obsession with Ivy. I enjoyed this book with the exception of how they handle Preston coming out as Bi. Being a bi man DOES not mean that you can’t be happy with a woman. Them not being compatible in bed is different from him being bi. The fact that the end had it seem like he was only happy because he was with a trans woman who didn’t have bottom surgery was off putting. I also legitimately flinched when he outed his gf as trans to Ivy, used her dead name, AND shared that she hasn’t had bottom surgery. That is incredibly private and inappropriate. He could have gotten the point across by saying he was happy and that they were comparable in bed. This honestly would have been a 5 for me if it wasn’t for the epilogue - this specific interaction in the epilogue.
