I loved how this book was written with the Acts and the Scenes, I think that it extraordinarily written. However, maybe I should have paid attention better in high school English when Shakespeare was the topic. I think to better enjoy this book, touch up on your Shakespeare readings and all the stories that come with them.

I love the ending and it basically leaves it up to how you want to imagine it ended. I know there aren’t a lot of happy endings in Shakespeare, but I’m choosing the happy ending in this book.

meredith is the only acceptable character. i actually love her and that’s the only reason i’m giving this book two stars. everyone else was terrible and i don’t know why they all kept slut shaming her? disgusting. the female characters add nothing to the story which is… upsetting. oh and the tragic achillean trope isn’t something i support. can’t say anything else without spoiling but i wouldn’t recommend at all + it put me in a slump.
