This is just Alice in Wonderland if there was a narrator that spoke directly to the reader once and awhile. It was boring and I found I was rereading pages because I forgot what happened in the previous paragraph. The ending was descent but that in and of itself doesn't save this overall forgettable book.

I also agree with previous critiques that say that the book makes a big deal about Ell is NOT A DRAGON, he is a WYVERN. So why are the illustrations (including the cover) clearly a dragon?
