On my return from travel I had to pick a book to read from my newly acquired stack of travel reads.
My purchase from Turkey included Forty Rules of Love and it came highly recommended by my tour guide.
This for me was a most difficult read, I found the flip from modern day to ancient times quite hard to grasp, I am a certified hopeless romantic and wished to stay in the romance of the modern day, I also felt that there wasn’t enough flip back to the modern day timeline for me. It was a pretty historical novel, which isn’t my favourite genre, I pursued it and it unfortunately took me way too long to finish.
The love and connection between Ella and Aziz was definitely my favourite part of this book, and I was left wanting more. Not really my type of book but really well written and researched!
