I don't know why but a lot of YA series I've read recently all seem to end in the same or similar ways. A lot of them have been dealing with gods and divinity, and none of them have ended in truly satisfactory ways for me. I thought the relationship between Enrique, Hypnos, and Zofia was the best part of the book, because I stopped caring for Laila and Severin so long ago. I can't support a relationship when there's literally no relationship. There was nowhere near enough actual connection in their relationship compared to the amount of angst. Hypnos and Zofia are probably my favorite characters. I feel like Hypnos's arc was missing something, though. Like there's something just not quite whole about it. I like their ending, though. The ending as a whole, though, was just of eh, to be honest. The climax was dazzling, but after, I felt kind of...eh. I think I was supposed to have some emotional catharsis, but I just didn't.

RATING: 4.5 STARS

What an amazing ending to an amazing series. Roshani once again has not left me disappointed with the third and final book of the Gilded Wolves trilogy.

I have to start the review off with talking about how well written each of the characters were, individually and in their friendships and relationships. I thought that Laila, Séverin, Enrique and Zofia were all very well developed throught the series as a whole but especially in The Bronzed Beasts.

I do have to say that one of the let downs of this book and series for me is the lack of Hypnos when it comes to knowing his backstory and .. honestly anything about him because we don't know much, and I continued to read this series absolutely longing for his pov and only getting like .. 1/2 pages per book of actually his thoughts. It's really the only thing that let down this book a bit for me, but that might just be because I absolutely love Hypnos as a character. But don't let that scare you away, still an amazing book and Hypnos is absolutely still there and relevant.

There was some really funny moments in this book, especially between Hypnos, Enrique and Zofia. Those three are just hilarious together and really bounced off each other well in this finale.

I thought the romance was written well between characters as well, definitely got me tearing up a good few times. Some really beautiful moments in this book that I loved.

I thought the overall plotline for this book was really interesting, carrying over from The Silvered Serpents with some added in twists and developments along the way.

The last few chapters were a real highlight to me. So well written, really heart clenching stuff. I am very happy with how things ended for the gang.
