Suze & Jesse as adults, and both alive & together is my favorite thing in the world! Iā€™m not ready for my reread of this series to be over!! Meg Cabot, can we get another book in this world? Maybe with Suze & Jesse as parents, teaching their kids (& the triplets) how to be good mediators? Pretty please? šŸ™šŸ»

"The second I said the name, her mouth twisted as if she'd just bit into the foulest tasting thing she'd ever had the misfortune to eat. I should have known. Even Sister Ernestine had a him. Maybe every single woman in the world has a him."

Very on par with Suze's high school days, her world shifts well into the adult realm. There were a lot of serious topics that caught me off guard because the tone/voice is so similar to the earlier/younger books. I would suggest checking content warnings or at least being aware that this story touches upon genuinely sensitive subject matter.

After so much hype throughout, I found the main plot (with Paul) and the ultimate Jesse/Suze conclusion underwhelming, and found the ghost plot much more engaging, but ultimately this story did provide what I felt was missing from the original series, which was Jesse's adjustment and an established, functional relationship
