Perhaps I shouldn't have read Nietzsche's last composition first. I get that it is satirical, but I spent most of my time listening to this book with a scrunched brow. Perhaps I'm not academic enough to "get" it.

Si potrebbe fare un drinking game su questo libro: ogni volta che Nietzsche afferma di essere il piĆ¹ grande pensatore della storia umana, ci si fa uno shottino. Sarebbe divertente...

I'm not sure why studying Translation in college has put me in the position of having to study Nietzsche's life and works on more than one occasion, but I'm grateful for it. He was truly fascinating.

A really facinating book. I have the barest introduction to philosophy through school and some YouTube videos but I found a lot of enjoyment working through this book. Despite this being in his final years and people saying he was not mentally sane while writing, I enjoyed sifting through Nietzsche's points he was trying to make and getting a retrospective of his previous work was a good place to start. While I didn't agree with everything here I enjoyed the philosophy and look forward to reading more

Read between the lines. Otherwise, still pretty interesting book.
