i hate the "different from all other girls" trope. it's sexist, it's stupid, and it's annoying.
but i'm willing to read the rest of this series. i'm curious about where this is going and i've never read any why-choose before.

liked the characters but the story itself lacked depth

Good book and continuation of the Ghost Bird universe. Kayli is strong, stubborn, independent, and had a rough go of it. She is overly impulsive and sometimes makes poor decisions but her hearts in the right place. It’ll be interesting to see where the series goes

This is probably the worst book I’ve read in my life. Absolutely horrible.

Reread:
07/15/17 reading in between books at work when I'm bored lol.
07/19/15
11/23/14 3.5 stars
I didn't realize this crossed over with the Ghostbird series (after book 5, I think?) but I am so happy I finally read it. Love catching things that happened in the other and getting the back story now.
OMG I cannot believe I didn't catch who Wil was before reading someone else's review!!

Really hilarious and addictive read! Trying not to freak out too much over the hangover. Loved the reverse harem because that is SUCH a guilty pleasure of mine in books, manga, and anime. Can't wait to read Liar, book 2!

DNF - where's the plot? And who am I supposed to care about?

Unlike others, I don't really care about the bed hopping. Everyone involved wanted to be there, no biggie. But I didn't enjoy being tossed about with no seeming direction of attraction. The guys are flopped through so quickly, I don't have time to really find a reason to like any of them.

Kayli was a very unreliable character and I got bored with the instability. As soon as I don't care, I'm out.

Reads like a bad reserve harem fan-fiction, complete with bad stereotypes, massive Mary Sue and no character development.

Netgalley sent me a copy.

Stealing for rent and too keep her brother in school. kayli hates doing it but can't stop until she runs into some hunky guys. There's action, romance and a little drama. Loved it and waiting for book two! Five stars for me is rare but I loved it. At first I wasn't happy with how she was with the guys but the end explained it :)
