Wild. Extremely fast paced, plot twists were interesting enough but definitely no substance to the characters.

Kind of strange...

Dark Domination was a pretty erotica kind of book - yet it was also a little confusing. It's about Hannah, who had a twin sister named Harley, and how she was bought by a stranger. He just happens to be a billionaire and such and out for revenge. Jackson has been hurt by Harley and when he finds Hannah, thinking she's actually Harley, well he wants to teach her a lesson.

Of course things start to heat up between the two. I have a feeling that he actually called her Hannah once or twice.. but he still kept thinking she was actually her dead twin sister Harley. Now Harley doesn't seem like the kind of person who will always have your back. Nope - she mostly just seems to care about herself and only that. So when she suddenly dies well it definitely turns Hannah's world upside down. Now she's dealing with all of the her consequences which I think is completely unfair. Yet, she does sort of start to fall in love with Jackson.

Now the smut was amazing. I loved them together... but it was still really weird to me when he kept thinking and calling her Harley. I would probably freak out if someone called someone else's name out while you're doing it - but hey, she played the weird ass part too.

Overall, my twin (aka FELICIA) already told me that the second weird is sort of already like the first book SO I have no idea if I want to dive into that right now. Maybe it will be better or stranger.. again, I have no idea what will be in that book. I just really want him to acknowledge her as Hannah though..

Gets 4 stars cuz hot as hell but too fast-paced, confusing beginning, and too short. Unsure if I'll continue series.

Hannah and Jackson

Hmmm, I wanted to love this one. I was close but I found a few things hinky and that made it tough to LOVE.

Jackson is an ex-Marine who some how doesn't realize that the women in the bed isn't the same women he's been screwing around with? Was he a bad Marine? He notices the differences in Hannah and Harley later, how does he miss them from the start? I just, I can't get my head around him failing to see that Hannah and Harley are 2 different people and that was enough to drop the stars down.

THAT said, I am very interested to see where this story goes....so we'll see.

What an interesting story!

I am thoroughly snared in this story. The characters are rough around the edges but their pain and need are palpable!

I... really liked it? It probably would have been 5 stars if this was the full length novel (depending on where the story goes) but I’m really into it! That being said, the others in this story are a little pricey but maybe I’ll get them one day.

Fast and short.
Part of a series though so no resolution.

Need to read

So glad this is a typical love story. I loved the plot since the beginning. I will definitely be finishing this series

Started reading this for a particularly spicy scene (FMC is woken up from sleep by her twin sister’s boyfriend in a case of mistaken identity) and then stayed for the rollercoaster revenge plot.

First book of a 4-part and complete series (I didn’t realise this when I started, so the cliffhanger made my jaw drop and I immediately downloaded the next instalment).

Angsty, MMC seeking revenge on the ‘FMC’ (not realising he’s got the twin sister), erotic melodrama. My guilty pleasure.
