some pieces better than others, could have really benefited from a good cull, but a joy to just have in existence. more of this in the world please!

This was a really lovely anthology. I loved the joy there was to be found in being both queer and fat. I loved all the different mediums and authors and poets, and it was just nice to feel seen.

absolutely stunning anthology, these authors have poured their hearts and souls into these pieces. the range of experiences here is vast and i'm sure many fat queers will find a reflection of themselves in here.

While the collection has some absolute highlights:
- Soft Butch
- The Trash Heap Has Spoken
- A Fat Lot of Good That Did: How an Art Studio Transformed my Eyes
- The Gendernonconformity of my Fatness
- Seven Unsated Appetites

I do think the overall collection got weaker as it progressed. If it were just these essays, some of the poetry, and maybe a few more, I would have given it five stars.
It's just that I feel like it could have been edited more, could have profited from being shorter. As so many essays were saying the same thing.
