Tried another Terry Pratchett book and it was a toss up between continuing the Industrial Revolution sub-series with The Truth or starting the Death sub-series. I decided on Death or Mort rather and I'm glad I did.
It was a very fun and enjoyable read, I wasn't sure what to expect given the title and series, needless to say chuckles were had aplenty and the book was enjoyable from start to finish.
The strength of this book is the characters especially the titular boy, Mort sorry! An of course Death is a very interesting and curious character. I giggled when he asked Mort if he fancies a curry.
The plot is one that is good fun as Desth decides to try being human and Mort gets used to his job and its perks and powers of responsibility.
I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this part of the series and seeing whether it goes from here and if anyone makes a reappearance.
With over 40 more books to read, I'm looking forward to knocking them out over coming months and years.
