Like many, not a huge fan of the art change-up in this volume, although if I had my way it would be all John Allison art all the time.

I am the little tug boat pulling an oceanliner, but the weight of it is all in my head and my little rope caught some algae.

Yet another installment of the Giant Days series that explores the complications of transitioning into adulthood. I remain invested in Daisy, Susan, and Esther's stories, particularly in the way those stories overlap. The girls' distinct personalities and voices have been fleshed out and thoroughly developed by this point in the series, but I always enjoy the moments when their friendship is on full display. I also have a bit of a soft spot for McGraw & Ed Gemmell, so I'm always happy to see them included.

While I think the last volume was stronger overall, I did enjoy reading this one. There were definite moments of hilarity and the content remained relatable as ever.

Reading Rush Challenge 4: Book with purple on the cover

This was ok. My main complaint is that there was a new artist that made the art look a little strange.

Reread: Same rating. I love Susan and McGraw.

Took an unintentional break from this series since the library lost my transfer. It's interesting seeing it with fresh eyes. The art is super cute in this one, especially the eyes. The stories weren't all that interesting, just slice-of-life in which really nothing much happens. But it was pleasant. 3.5 of 5.
