As a fellow Black Dahlia follower, this beautiful collection had me by the throat from beginning to end. Hatmaker's close attention to detail, form, and often railing against the treatment of Elizabeth Short is nothing but spot on. This collection is investigative, creative, and sharp, I couldn't have asked for a better little book. This is easily one collection I will return to, to relive, and study.
