I liked the book even though they be ripping out my heart on the regular

I wanted to reread this book because I read it on the train very quickly once and I could not remember anything of it.
But I think the writing is too detailing and I don’t like how the story is very romance centred. 
I preferred Gong’s adult debut Immortal Longings.

these books are making me realise i don’t vibe with fantasy books unless it’s rlly high stakes. almost DNF’d
