Loved this book. Loved Evan. Loved the believability and the palpable connection between the characters. So often people get this "type" of story wrong and this was certainly not one of those stories. Inspiring.

it was okay. i wanted her to end up with her friend that wold have made it steer away from the predictible student/teacher novel.

Unteachable? Ha! More like unbelievable! I can't believe this is Leah Raeder's first book! Unreal is what that is!

I adore Maise...that little vixen knows she's hot, knows she's a hot mess and overcomes what makes 99.99% of other main characters all squeamish and high drama.

I read this book because the reviews were amazing. I was NOT disappointed! Can't wait for more by this author

October 21, 2017: *deletes everything because I cringe every time I read an old review of mine*

This is not my genre at all, but I read it upon my friend’s insistence. I’ve made it a habit not to read blurbs on any books recommended to me, so I was not aware of the genre going into it. Sorry to say this just wasn’t my cup of tea. In my opinion, it felt like the writer tried too hard to write beautiful prose so that the reader could feel and imagine everything the protagonist was going through. It was beautiful at first, but a little over the top; how many ways can one describe having mind-blowing sex before the reader stops and thinks to him/herself, “alright, I get the picture.” At least you get a story line and characters that have brains in this one. If you’d like to read a smarter version of Fifty Shades, sans the violence, try this one on for size.

Really enjoyed the writing style of this author. It seemed reminiscent of Hemingway mixed with personal poetry. The ending was a bit confounding to me, but I think I understand it. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

Really enjoyed the writing style of the author. Although I found the ending to be a bit perplexing, the story was engaging. I look forward to reading more by this author.

Wow. I'm not sure what I can possibly say about this that hasn't been said. This is definitely a must read book. Anyone on the fence needs to just sit down and read this.

I'll have to sit on this for a while if I want to review it more.

This book...just WOW! I loved it so much from start to end.

Maise is eighteen, a senior at Highschool and her teacher is thirty-three years old. They meet at a carnival just before her senior year starts and are immediately attracted to each other. Obviously, the two of them didn't know that he'll be her teacher...

So, this book is so good and I think I might consider it as one of my favorite student-teacher romance books. It's written so good and so freaking well, like really I just devoured every page. Besides that, it's written very realistic, in my opinion. A huge recommendation from me! Loved this one!!
