Separating the creator from the work, my thoughts are as such:
The book holds up well from years ago when I last read it. Book > movie in every way, however I can’t say I don’t picture Rupert Grint as Ron every time.

This was an incredibly easy read. I was bored over break and think I overshot the amount of time that it actually took to read because I simply could not put the book down. Writing this later, but I like this the best out of the first three so far
Technically my 3rd read: while this one is my least favourite it is no less a 5 star read. So many beautiful quotes in this book. I cry, like I always do at the end. Obviously I'm starting the next one right away! PoA and GoF are both my absolute favourites.
Thing I love so much about these books is how they finish so wonderfully that you feel pure happiness.
Can't wait to read the next one! I think I'm gonna have to do rereads of them every year and have several movie marathons!

Fine, but the first half is just constantly recapping Sorcerers Stone which got super annoying. Enjoyed the last half though

Dobby es un elfo libre y con eso es más que suficiente para que este libro tenga merecidas las 5 estrellas .

Again, I have forgotten so many of the details since reading it years ago! I absolutely love that Ron explains the magic slur and Hermione is clueless. I know it's switched in the movies, but that moment, and several others through the book, just reminded me that Ron is actually very smart and is the only one in the immediate friend group with a wizarding background. Harry and Hermione have so much that they don't know and I like that Ron isn't protracted as just the comedic-relief sidekick.
