I found the first few chapters hard to get into as it took time to get used to the style of writing however soon became hooked. I’d encourage everyone to read this book.
What a work of art this book is. Pivoted directly from the principal page and cherished the manner in which every one of the tales are so profoundly interweaved with one another.
Girl, Woman, Other follows the lives and struggles of twelve very different characters. Mostly women, black and British, they tell the stories of their families, friends and lovers, across the country and through the years.
Every one of the characters are so all around addressed. They come from every one of the various verses of life, shifting in their sexualities and the mistreatment that they face from the general public.
Words couldn't start to do equity to how astonishing, very much created and elegantly composed this book is.
The last part is likewise skillfully composed. Similarly, as the novel opens with Amma's play going to begin, it closes with the after gathering of the play in which a considerable lot of the characters are available. This makes an amazing story equilibrium and finale. The epilog is the good to beat all.

Sehr schönes Buch. Man liest aus so vielen verschiedenen Perspektiven über ganz verschiedene Lebensrealitäten. Manchmal zog sich eine Geschichte etwas. Außerdem werde ich mit dem punktlosen Schreibstil nicht warm.
