Really fun Poirot short story. Cozy Christmas theming and my favorite Christie so far out of the few I’ve read. Starting to really enjoy Poirot as a character and I’m beginning to understand why people adore him so much. :)

For my first Agatha Christie book, I believe this was a good one to start off with. I really enjoyed reading about the different mysteries and Hercule's more human-based approach to his case solving.
My favourite part was him only agreeing when he found out the building had heating and hot water, as I can very much relate to that.

Keeping up with my Agatha Christie holiday mystery streak, this one is a short, funny, and enjoyable read. I particularly enjoyed the holiday setting, with the story unfolding between Christmas Eve and Boxing Day. The mystery is well set up, and the conclusion is satisfying. While the characters are nice, the brevity made it a bit challenging to fully connect with them and the plot. Nevertheless, it's a delightful holiday read.
