This book gave The Housemaid but so much better! I was on the edge of my seat and genuinely nervous for the characters. The plot twists got me. Not much more you can ask for.

The end of this book was so unsatisfying—urgh! It started to really pick up around the halfway point and then the ending shifted from a thriller or more of a domestic drama. I kept waiting for a gnarly twist and it never came.
