The book started out really good and up until part 3 I was really enjoying it. Then end just felt drawn out and eventually fell flat.

This book deserves 3.5 stars - it was definitely an interesting read with lots of plot twists and lightbulb moments, but I wasn’t able to connect to both Hazel and Lee equally. I found myself reading Hazel’s chapters and just wishing for more of Lee. The audiobook narration was great - I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I just finished The Drowning Woman by Robyn Harding, and it was so good! Excellent thriller!

Some “twists” were predictable but others weren’t predictable at all. I devoured this book in a day and a half. The author’s writing style is realistic, and she just weaves an interesting tale. I will definitely look into her other books.

I don’t want to give away the plot because I think this book should be read blind without perusing the synopsis. Just know that I couldn’t quit reading and gasping here and there to Shawn and hollering “you won’t believe!” Haha

A solid 4 stars from me!

I loved this book. It hooked me in immediately! So many plot twists on this winding road of a book. I would definitely recommend.

I initially really liked this book. The first scene with Lee’s car getting broken into had my heart pounding, this author does a good job of writing tense moments. I initially really fall in love with Lee’s character, and that’s why I’m ultimately disappointed that this feels like Hazel’s story. I feel like Lee very much gets forgotten at the end of the story. I know we find out where she ends up, but I wanted more for her.
