Respectfully… what?? I opted for the audiobook this time because I just didn’t have the energy to annotate a physical copy like I did with the previous book, but I found myself pausing several times just to repeat a minute, give up on understanding, and move on. I’m kinda glad I searched “wtf happens harrow the ninth” when I was in the early chapters so I could understand the POV switches. Sci-fi is a not a genre I can read easily, so I thought that was my “it’s not you, it’s me” hurdle with this book, but truly if I read any other genre written like this, I would’ve struggled regardless (still a “it’s not you, it’s me” problem… kinda). ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ I’m glad I got through it but probs will just look up the plot of the next book ‘cause I’m nosey.

I love when a book makes you work for the story and doesn't just assume you are not smart enough to understand an intricate plot. That said, I was incredibly confused for most of this book. This book was so well written, I was thriving solely on the vibes. I'll definitely have to read this again
