--I was given a copy of this audiobook for an honest review

What a pleasant surprise this book was. I had no idea what to expect, this was my first book by Jane B Night, but it certainly will not be my last. I love anything western romance oriented, and this storyline of the two women going west and marrying strangers was fun, enlightening and interesting. I enjoyed hearing about the mail order brides, and how they corresponded with their future spouses to pick if they would make the journey west. The impromptu wedding of Augustus and Charlotte was my favorite of the two women. This story line of Augustus and Charlotte was more than romantic, comfortable, uncomfortable, loving, compromising...everything about them was just charming to me. I loved the way he took her in, and even in his discomfort and her sadness, they found their way to each other. You couldn't help but fall in love with him. With Sophie and Ezra, it was a little more challenging, but their story too made you just want to take Ezra and throw him on the bed! I would definitely recommend this book.

The narration by Felisha Caldeira was enjoyable, keeping a good pace and distinguishable characters.

This book was VERY sweet. Not entirely chaste, but lovers of slow-moving stories with people who need some TLC would probably enjoy it quite a bit. Could use a little extra polish here and there, but it didn't distract too much.
