Los libros de Tommy y Tuppence suelen ser muy aburridos y este no se iba a quedar atrĂ¡s

Unlike any other Christie I have read, the starting was good and the suspense...err...um...not that good. It seems like I wasted my time.

It's just not good and the only reason I was forcing myself to read it was because I wanted to read all of Christie's books but actually I don't have to! She's got so many great ones, I don't need to spend my time on this.

2.5?
Easily the weakest of Dame Agatha's works, of those I've read, and a disappointing ending to the Tommy & Tuppence series we'd enjoyed so much. The details of the mystery are rather contrived, making the overall tone feel forced.

Hannibal, the noble Manchester Terrier, steals what glory is to be had here for himself.

This is my first Tommy/Tuppence book (yes, I understand it's the last in the series; my e-reader doesn't sequence them). I was kind of shocked at the low rating! The main characters are loveable really, but the mystery is kind of sleepy and low-stakes. Makes sense that it's the last book of the series. It's not a re-read, and I can see why people rate it low if they read it sequentially. Standalone though, it is charming.
