This was a new-to-me author I found via stuff your ereader day and this book was a real treat. Almost as much plot as a Lynsay Sands but not quite as bananas, class difference, marriage of convenience, kidnapped and taken to Scotland. It hit all of the Scotty RoNo notes. Super cute. Will def read the next book!

I got this book for free during a Stuff Your Kindle event, so I was a little apprehensive off-the-bat because the quality of these books are often lackluster.
Lady Briar Weds the Scot was not lackluster at all.
From the initial character introductions, to the adventure, to the intimacy building, everything was well-written and wonderfully fun to read. The development of the characters, particularly Percy, meant that you were rooting for everyone, and the beautiful descriptions of the lands and scenes were immersive.
My one complaint is that Loghain was a little too on-the-nose villainous, but I could look past it.
